Selections from Handel’s Messiah to Draw Music Enthusiasts to 2nd Annual Sing-Along

Lexington, KY – December 11, 2017 A nearly four-hundred-year-old Christmas tradition will be celebrated again in Central Kentucky, as the Lexington and Lexington North Stakes of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints host their second annual sing-along event, featuring the beloved music of Handel’s Messiah.

All are invited to join in song on Saturday, December 16th, at 7:00 pm, at the Lexington North Stake Center located at 2459 Sir Barton Way. The sing-along will feature a group of  professional and volunteer musicians from around Kentucky and the region.

Rob Langdorf will again conduct the musical evening. Langdorf is the director of the Lexmark Singers, where he works full-time as a quality systems engineer. He sings tenor with The Lexington Singers, and has previously served as band director at the University of Detroit.
